Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with a nice set-up, but the noise from neighboring guests kept me up all night. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable. The location was a bit challenging due to noise from trucks and the neighborhood not being the best. Dining options were limited, and the facilities were average.
The hotel is tucked away in the heart of Brooklyn, not too far from transportation hubs, major shopping areas, and the famed Barclays Center. The rooms on the backside, though still spacious, had a skylight view but reeked of cigarette smoke, which was a challenge for someone allergic like me. The service, from checking in to out, was exceptional, even though there was a minor hiccup with our reservation that was quickly resolved. The dining offered a nice variety of food, including fresh cut-up fruit and pancakes, while the facilities met my expectations.
The hotel has beautiful, clean rooms in a great location, but lacks soundproofing and had some disrepair issues. The service was questionable at times, with maintenance staff doubling as service personnel. The location, although a bit rough and with some homeless presence, offered easy access to the subway and downtown Manhattan. The dining experience was basic, lacking variety and hot milk options. Overall, some positives but room for improvement.
The hotel had some issues that needed to be addressed in the rooms like a broken shower and lack of amenities, but overall, the spacious rooms and great breakfast were positive points. The service was friendly, although the check-in process was slow. The location was accessible to my family but in a loud area at night. The dining experience was mediocre with limited options. The facilities were average.
My stay at the hotel was exceptional. The rooms smelled really clean, and I even spotted a bright yellow cleaning bin, showing great attention to cleanliness. The room was huge, although I wished there were more trash cans available. The service was amazing, especially during check-in and check-out. The location, although excellent for access to places like Franklin St and the Botanical Gardens, seemed a bit dodgy due to the neighborhood. The dining experience was a bit under-par, with limited breakfast options. Overall, a good value for the money.
The hotel had some issues with the rooms, such as the street-level view and tobacco smell, needing repairs and the casual operation. Service was friendly and accommodating, with staff being helpful and proactive. The location was exciting and close to transportation options. The dining experience was a bit underwhelming.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms, although with a good bathroom design, only had one glass and one cup for two of us, which was a bit inconvenient. However, overall, the rooms were just ok and comfortable. The service, despite the staff not changing the sheets, was a nice surprise given the location, but it seemed lacking in hospitality training. The location, while close to subway stations and the Barclay Center, was a bit rough outside and off the beaten path despite being convenient for getting into Manhattan. The dining experience was not up to par, although I did find a great breakfast spot nearby with reasonable prices.
The hotel had a great set-up in the rooms with two TVs, a couch, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. However, there was a smell upon entering. The overall experience was average and not worth the price unless in NYC/Brooklyn. The service was a mix of delays in maintenance but helpful staff. The location, although going through redevelopment, suffered from noise disturbances. The dining options were non-existent and disappointing. On the positive side, the rooms were comfortable and the service, when provided, was helpful.
